Connecting neighbors in need with volunteers who care.

All too often, many of our friends and neighbors struggle with food accessibility. Charlottesville is fantastic, and we've taken great strides to look after one another, but there is much more room for help. Cville FoodLink aims to bridge these gaps by connecting local volunteers, eager to help, with residents in need of food.

Through this simple, community-powered app, anyone can request food assistance. Volunteers are then able to connect with residents and organize the best way to assist with their grocery run, restaurant pickup, or food pantry. We've essentially created a volunteer marketplace to give our community another option when it comes to dealing with age-related mobility issues, disease, and disabilities.

Cville FoodLink is a unique blend of convenience and compassion, allowing residents to obtain food quickly, while also forming meaningful bonds with their volunteers. These connections are essential for isolated citizens, and they foster a deep sense of community while also serving as a vital safety net for those in need. Furthermore, the social contact and proper nutrition cultivate improved health and medical outcomes in our community.

Together, we’re creating a Charlottesville where no one goes hungry—one meal, one neighbor, and one act of kindness at a time.
